donation info

The Dallas Makerspace is a membership based, shared community workshop commonly known as a makerspace or hackerspace (wikipedia article on hackerspaces). We're a collection of local artists, engineers, makers, creators, and thinkers. We're working together to build a workshop full of resources that none of us could afford individually. We use those resources as we collaborate on projects, working on anything we feel like, learning from each other, and sharing the results with the world. We hope to make Dallas a better, more interesting place by bringing together creative people to work on community projects.

Where to Find us

We signed a lease in June of 2010, but we're still working on resolving some administrative loose ends. We expect to move in very soon! You can follow our progress on the new space ToDo list. We've got a plenty of expenses to cover so we still need all the donations we can get! We'll continue to provide updates on current meeting locations until the new Makerspace warehouse becomes legally habitable.
